OUR STORY
Ace Insulation Limited was setup by our managing director, Jason Peter Termaat in August 2025. After spending ten years in the industry, Jason had installed insulation in hundreds of homes, audited over a thousand more and managed a large team of insulation installers and auditors across New Zealand.
With Jason's background in IT and years of management experience, he saw the opportunity to create his own business where he could deliver a high quality service every step of the way for our customers.
"I get a real kick out of completing a job that was a real challenge or when a customer tells me how much of a impact the insulation has had in their home. It's oddly satisfying installing insulation, seeing ceiling and underfloor spaces totally transformed and I take pride knowing that it has been done properly."

OUR VALUES
The goal of Ace Insulation is not to be the biggest or fastest but to maintain a high quality service at all times. What this means to us is not simply to install insulation to industry standards but to ensure all our customers have a great experience every step of the way.
QUALITY
We take pride in our workmanship and use the best insulation products on the market to ensure long lasting results for our customers.
We strictly follow the industry standards set out in the NZS4246 to ensure that the insulation is not only installed to standard but that it is safe by maintaining correct clearances to electrical devices and sources of heat.

Our team and our customers mean everything to us. We treat everyone with respect, understanding and honesty.
We understand that when we are in a customers home that it is important to cause the least amount of disruption while providing a meaningful service that will positively affect the lives of everyone living there.
SUSTAINABILITY
By using products that use recycled materials and natural formulas, we help reduce the carbon footprint in the insulation industry. We also do our best to minimise our waste by utilising off cuts in framing spaces that are smaller than standard sizes and recycling insulation where possible..

We do what we say, provide clear communication, a reliable service with no hidden surprises.

We had a fantastic experience with Ace Insulation Limited. We had just settled on a property and knew it needed new insulation, but we also had tenants due to move in on the Monday. I contacted Ace Insulation Limited for a quote, and he came out straight away. He then worked full days over the weekend to make sure the property was brought up to Healthy Homes standard in time for the tenants to move in.
He was thorough, reliable, and went above and beyond. While carrying out the work, he noticed a few other things that would help the property meet Healthy Homes requirements and keep the tenants comfortable. He let us know, and then sorted those out as well.
Great service, excellent communication, and a real commitment to getting the job done properly. We really appreciated the extra effort and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Ace Insulation Limited.

The whole process was easy and hassle-free, and I’m really happy with the result. I would definitely recommend Jason and his insulation services.

After noticing that our current house had a wet earth odour following any heavy rain, we wondered if this was due to no ground moisture barrier having been installed previously. We contacted Jason of Ace Insulation Ltd, who confirmed that was the likely cause.
He supplied a very reasonable quote on request and we arranged for the job to be done the following week.
Jason arrived at the specified time and completed the job that day to our satisfaction.
His high standard of work was already known to us as he had also done the ceiling, floor and moisture barrier in our last house and the building inspector, when doing the sale inspection had called it a first class job.
We have no hesitation in recommending Jason's insulation work.
